I currently collect and process the following information:

• Names, email addresses, maybe some notes on you as a person to remind me what you like

How I get the personal information and why I have it

Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:

· You subscribed online to my mailing list

· You subscribed on a paper form at one of my gigs

· You emailed and asked me to sign up

· You’ve signed up via my MemberVault learning environment

· You’ve become a Mamatron at my www.patreon.com/MamaTokus site or supported me at www.buymeacoffee.com/MamaTokus

· You’ve bought a ticket for a Mama Tokus show through www.WeGotTickets.com

I also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

· I track which of my web pages you’ve visited, using Mailchimp, Google Analytics and Facebook’s Metapixel

· I track which of my offers you’ve taken up in MemberVault

I use the information that you have given me to send you news of my gigs, my offers, my videos, my ideas in order to get you to my shows, to manage patronage, sell tickets and to offer you my, er, offers.

I share this information with Mailchimp, the platform that I use for sending emails and for making/hosting my website because I have to in order to use the platform.

I share this information with Google, via Gmail, Contacts and Drive, so that I can use my email account to contact you, or put your details in spreadsheets and store them.

If you’ve subscribed through MemberVault, this information is also held in MemberVault because it has to be there for me to use my virtual learning environment.

If you’re one of my patrons in www.Patreon.com/MamaTokus or www.BuyMeACoffee.com/MamaTokus, then your information is on those platforms because it has to be for you to patronise me (hope I’m not patronising YOU here).

If you’ve bought a ticket for one of my shows through WeGotTickets, this information is held in WeGotTickets, because it has to be there for you to get a ticket.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the various lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent

You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by unsubscribing (there’s a link at the bottom of all my emails) or by contacting me on mama@mamatokus.com

(b) We have a contractual obligation

If you’ve bought/downloaded an offer via my MemberVault site, then I’ve got a contractual obligation to deliver it to you, see?

If you’ve bought a ticket through my Wegottickets platform, I’ve got a contractual obligation to email you that ticket and be able to record your transaction.

You’ve become a patron/supporter through Patreon and/or BuyMeACoffee.

(c) I have a legitimate interest

Maybe you’re a venue or a potentially valuable contact – you haven’t necessarily given me permission to contact you, but I’ve noted your details down because I might want to network with you in the future. This bit covers me for keeping your details on file.

How I store your personal information

Your information is securely stored here:

· In my Mailchimp account

· In my MemberVault account

· In my Patreon account

· In my BuyMeACoffee account

· In my Gmail, GDrive & Contacts database

I keep your personal information in Mailchimp and MemberVault in perpetuity – unless you unsubscribe.

When you do that, I get rid of your details by deleting all record of you in Mailchimp.

If you’re on a spreadsheet on my laptop, I’ll delete your data after 7 years.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond to you.
